For those who know the “real thing” when they hear it, the first notes from jazz vocalist Andrea Superstein will start the lights flashing. Her lush voice and smoky delivery pay fond homage to Lena, Peggy and Ella–the legendary ladies of jazz–whose stylings made great tunes and equally great lyrics rumble with emotion.
This concert is part of the 2019-2020 Pender Harbour Music Society Concert Series.
All concerts held at the School of Music in Madeira Park. Tickets ($25 per concert) will soon be available at Harbour Insurance in Madeira Park, Strait Music in Sechelt, and on the Pender Harbour Music Society website.
