Wood Expo

Ever wondered just how many things can be made using wood? Come to the fourth annual Wood Expo on September 15, 2018 at the Seaside Centre in Sechelt to find out.

It is expected to be a great day with some returning exhibitors and a many new ones. Jimmy Duggan and his go carts are back as are members of the popular Suncoast Woodcrafters Guild with their annual 2×4 challenge entries. There will be chain saw carvings, furniture, art, toys and more.

The Rotary Club of Sechelt will also be back with their burgers and hot dogs so bring your appetite and support their Breakfast for Kids program.

Bring your family and friends.  The Wood Expo is free to attend and there should be something for everyone.

The Wood Expo has been gaining momentum since the inaugural show in 2014. Last year’s show had a record attendance of 1300. The exhibitors came from all over the lower Sunshine Coast and featured artists, wood carvers, furniture makers, a cedar strip canoe, and wooden cars.
