PRISMA – Pacific Region International Summer Music Academy

Enjoy fabulous classical concerts performed by students and young music professionals from around the world. These musicians will open Powell River's musical doors in venues such as The Evergreen Theatre, Town Centre Hotel, and Willingdon Beach Park. Popular masterclasses will continue to take place throughout the week in the Evergreen Theatre where you can listen to sectional rehearsals and lessons with distinguised guest artists. Sunshine Coast Pavilion @ Gibsons Public Art Gallery

A community installation to commemorate the Canada 150 celebration. This project will transform the Gallery into the 'Sunshine Coast Pavilion', a community display reminiscent of the cultural pavilions that were a feature of Expo’86 in Vancouver.  This is a design for a local expo, with the Gallery acting as the host, with local organizations, community partners and businesses taking part in the creation of a display that will showcase all that the Sunshine Coast offers to Canada and the world.…
