Saltery Bay is both the ferry terminal for those travelling to & from the southern Sunshine Coast, and a stunning provincial park.

Saltery Bay Provincial Park is a great place for visitors to stop if they have a couple hours to spare before catching the ferry, but also boasts a campground and swimming beach if you would like to extend your stay. This is also one of the best diving spots in the region – divers who set off from Mermaid Cove in the park can find a 3 metre bronze statue of a mermaid in the depths. There are also several hikes nearby, including the Fairview Bay trail and Rainy Day Lake access along the Sunshine Coast Trail.
